West Milford, NJ – Rebecca Adelman Killed in Crash on NJ-23

West Milford, NJ (April 23, 2020) – On Wednesday, April 22nd, a New York woman was killed following a crash in West Milford, New Jersey. Rebecca McMahon Adelman, 36, of Brooklyn was reportedly driving a Chevy sedan on NJ-23 when she was involved in a crash with a Ford SUV driven by a 27-year-old Bloomingdale woman. The two vehicles collided near the intersection of NJ-23 and Canistear Road at around 12:23 p.m. 

Local sources reported that an overturned, dark-colored vehicle was found at the intersection. There were also reports of emergency personnel at the scene, and the New York woman was pronounced dead by responding officials. The Bloomingdale woman wasn’t injured in the accident. 

No further information on the crash is known at this time. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
