Washington, NJ – Sewell Man Killed In Crash At Delsea Dr & Evans Ln

Washington, NJ (January 15, 2020) – A head-on collision occurred on Monday night, January 13th, in Washington Township, that took the life of another person in New Jersey.  The victim was identified as a 37-year-old man from Sewell, New Jersey.

The accident occurred at the corner of Delsea Drive and Evans Lane near the time of 8:30 p.m. Local officials reported that John J. Myers Jr. was driving a 2007 Lexus on Delsea Drive NB when he veered into the southbound lanes of traffic, colliding with a 2016 Land Rover. 

Both drivers were trapped inside their cars after the accident. Myers was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics. The driver of the Land Rover, a 51-year-old woman from Sewell, was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.

She’s believed to be in stable condition. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
