Wall Township, NJ (September 10, 2019) – Around 7:30 a.m. yesterday morning, September 9, police confirm that one individual was injured in a dump truck accident.

The accident took place when an SUV was crushed by a dump truck at the intersection of Route 138 and Allenwood Road.

Police are not sure how the accident took place but photographs at the scene of the accident showed that the front end of the SUV was badly smashed by the dump truck.

At the time, police believe that the truck had been carrying dirt or sand. The debris was spilled all over the roadway and took some time to clear from the scene.

The driver of the SUV was hospitalized but is expected to survive. The investigation continues at this time.
