Tractor-Trailer Accidents in New Jersey
Tractor-trailers have an obvious size difference compared to passenger vehicles. The weight of these vehicles often contributes to the severity of a crash. Those unfortunate enough to be involved in a tractor-trailer accident often suffer severe injuries.
A typical tractor-trailer weighs up to 80,000 pounds, nearly 16 times greater than that of a passenger car. Nearly 5,000 people die in crashes each year involving large commercial vehicles. In some cases, crash victims can recover lost compensation with the help of a New Jersey trucking injury lawyer.
