Union, NJ – 12-Year-Old Injured in Pedestrian Accident Near Forest DriveNew Jersey Legal News
Union, NJ (July 19, 2019) – On Wednesday, around 8:00 p.m., police were called to the scene of a pedestrian accident that caused injuries to a young child on Forest Drive.
According to Union Police, the child was struck when he was crossing Forest Drive. A witness said that a van struck the child and never stopped.
The child was taken to the hospital with severe trauma and has since been listed in critical condition.
Detectives have since found the vehicle yesterday morning but they have not yet identified the driver. They are searching for them at this time.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
