Toms River, NJ – Motorcycle Accident Leads to Critical Injuries on Route 37New Jersey Legal News
Toms River, NJ (July 21, 2019) – Around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 20th, police claim that one person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that took place on Route 37.
The accident took place in Toms River when the motorcyclist, 17-year-old Dawson Palmarini, was traveling in the eastbound lanes of Route 37 and began passing other vehicles on the shoulder.
At some point, a 2006 Acura started making a lawful turn onto Gary Road when the motorcycle slammed into the turning vehicle. Palmarini was immediately thrown off of his bike and knocked unconscious. Paramedics arrived and claimed that he almost died due to his severe injuries.
First responders were able to resuscitate the party and transported him to the hospital by medical helicopter. At this time, he remains in a regional trauma center in critical condition.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
