New Jersey Motorcycle Accidents
New Jersey was one of 18 states that experienced an increase in motorcycle fatalities in 2017. Motorcycle fatalities in the state increased from 69 in 2016 to 80 in 2017. Statistics have found that motorcyclists are nearly 27 times more likely to suffer fatal injuries in the event of a crash.
Motorcyclists, even when they follow the necessary safety protocol, have little protection when colliding with a motor vehicle. Common road hazards like potholes, ice, cracks, or slick roads are a much greater risk for riders than drivers. Car crashes can leave riders paralyzed, as amputees, or with other types of permanent disability.
At Brady, Brady, & Reily, LLC, our team of New Jersey motorcycle crash attorneys advocates for innocent riders who have faced injury and harm due to careless drivers. Insurance companies often try to close the case early, effectively eliminating any additional compensation you may be entitled to.
