Sparta, NJ – Four-Vehicle Accident With Injury Due to Drugged Driving

Sparta, NJ (March 20, 2019) – On March 15 around 2:30 p.m., police charged a woman with drugged driving after a four-vehicle accident she caused when she had been driving on a prescription.

The accident took place at the intersection of Route 15 and White Lake Road. Allegedly, 33-year-old Nicole McCallum had failed to stop at a red light and caused a chain-reaction accident.

McCallum struck the rear-end of a Ford F-350 driven by Steven Mills, which caused it to be pushed forward into a Subaru driven by Morag McCrory. McCrory’s vehicle was then sent into the back of a Dodge Ram driven by Antonio Ramirez.

McCallum was charged at the scene of the accident for being under the influence of a narcotic prescription drug. She was taken to the hospital injuries.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.

We would like to extend our sincere sympathies to those involved in this accident with the hopes that they will be able to move forward during this difficult time.
