Southampton, NJ – Fatal Motorcycle Accident at Route 70 Intersection

Southampton, NJ (August 12, 2019) – On Sunday night, August 11th, police responded to the scene of a fatal motorcycle accident at the Route 70 and Burrs Mill Road intersection.

The 56-year-old motorcyclist involved, David Warner Jr., was riding west on Route 70 when he struck a vehicle that was turning right on Burrs Mill. Warner landed in the eastbound lane. From there, he was struck by an SUV.

A coroner pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene around 8:30 p.m. The driver of the vehicle Warner ran into had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
