South Brunswick, NJ – Man Injured In Red Light Crash On US-1

South Brunswick, NJ (January 17, 2020) – A man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle that ran a red light in South Brunswick, New Jersey. The crash occurred at the intersection of US-1 and New Road on Wednesday, January 15th, at around 10:07 a.m. The injured victim’s vehicle caught on fire after the impact.

Sources revealed that a man from Plainsboro, New Jersey was traveling on New Road when he ran the red light and collided with the victim’s vehicle. The victim had to be extricated from his vehicle and was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. 

The driver who struck the victim was treated and released at the scene. An investigation into the crash is currently being managed by local authorities.
