South Brunswick, NJ – Man Arrested After Fatal Motorcycle Accident

South Brunswick, NJ (August 10, 2019) – On Thursday, around 8:50 p.m., police arrested a man following a fatal motorcycle accident in South Brunswick.

The victim was identified as 25-year-old Cory Holsten, whose life was taken in an accident on Cranbury Road in South Brunswick.

Police showed up at the scene of the accident to find that the driver had fled the scene. They were able to trace the driver to a bar known as Dock’s Corner Tavern just outside of Jamesburg. The vehicle was identified as a 2004 Jeep Wrangler and the driver was identified as 57-year-old Peter Prete.

Prete was arrested by police at his home for striking the motorcyclist and fleeing the scene. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
