Scotch Plains, NJ – Deadly Pedestrian-Train Crash on Goodmans Crossing

Scotch Plains, NJ (June 15, 2020) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a train in Scotch Plains on Friday night, June 12th. The incident occurred at around 11:45 p.m. near Goodmans Crossing. An unidentified individual entered the tracks and was struck by a train. 

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, the identity of the deceased party has not been revealed. No further updates are currently available. 

The Norfolk Southern Railroad Police is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
