Ringwood, NJ (March 13, 2019) – Police confirmed that two men were killed in a head-on collision that took place on the Greenwood Lake Turnpike on Wednesday afternoon.
The men were driving in a Toyota Celica that was driving along on the highway when it suddenly struck a guardrail and crossed over into the opposite lane, striking a Chevy head-on.
Both men in the Celica died at the scene of the accident. The man driving in the Chevy was taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries but is expected to be okay.
The names of those involved have not yet been released. Police closed down the roadway following the accident for some time.
