Ridgefield, NJ (February 11, 2020) – A 45-year-old pedestrian was struck by a van as it attempted to make a left turn at an intersection in Ridgefield on Monday, February 10th. The victim was struck by a 2016 Ford Traverse near the corner of Broad Avenue and Edgewater Avenue. Local sources reported that the accident occurred at around 8:00 p.m. 

Limited details on the crash are currently available. The 50-year-old driver who struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The identity of the injured party is currently being withheld.

An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
