Passaic County, NJ – Two People in Fatal Accident Now Identified by PoliceNew Jersey Legal News
Passaic County, NJ (March 14, 2019) – Authorities have identified the two parties who lost their lives in a fatal accident yesterday around 3:15 p.m.
Police arrived at the scene in Ringwood to find that 19-year-old Victor Weinpel and a 17-year-old from West Milford were killed when their 1999 Toyota Corolla struck a Chevy van on the Greenwood Lake Turnpike.
Police say that the Corolla struck a guardrail, went out of control, and crossed into the opposite lane. The two struck head-on.
The two boys were pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident. They were both former students at the Lakeland Regional High School.
Police have also identified the other party as 64-year-old Paul Barker. He was rushed to the hospital with injuries but is expected to be okay.
As of last night, police have been working on their investigation.
