Oakland, NJ – School Bus Accident Involving Injuries on Skyline Drive

Oakland, NJ (July 31, 2019) – Police and other responders were called to the scene of a school bus accident involving injuries that took place on Skyline Drive.

According to police, the accident involved two school buses and a pickup truck. The accident took place late Monday afternoon on Skyline Drive. According to the Mahwah Fire Department, multiple ambulances were called to the scene to assist those with injuries but the condition of those involved is not yet known.

Photographs taken at the scene showed a school bus and pickup truck with heavy front-end damage. Children could be seen standing outside the bus.

The bus had been coming from a camp in Ringwood, according to police. The roadway was closed for almost two hours while the scene was cleared. At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
