Newark, NJ (April 2, 2020) – There were confirmed injuries following a collision in Newark earlier this morning. The accident occurred at around 6:38 a.m. on Thursday, April 2nd. The site of the collision was reportedly located at the intersection of US-22 west of Meeker Avenue.
The extent of the resulting injuries isn’t clear at this time. Emergency units responded to the scene to assist those involved in the accident. One lane on US-22 was closed at Meeker Avenue while officials were at the crash site.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
