Newark, NJ – Charles Osei-Fosu Struck, Killed by Train near Peddie St

Newark, NJ (May 2, 2020) – A Union County man was fatally struck by a train in Newark on Sunday night, April 26th. Charles Osei-Fosu, 21, was hit by a New Jersey Transit train at around 8:10 p.m. 

Osei-Fosu was hit by an eastbound Raritan Valley line train near Peddie Street. Osei-Fosu suffered fatal injuries in the accident. Further details on the crash aren’t currently available. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
