Montville, NJ – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Thursday on Route 46New Jersey Legal News
Montville, NJ (July 27, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident that took place on Route 46 and led to the fatality of one pedestrian in Montville.
The accident took place on Thursday, around 9:15 p.m., on the westbound side of Route 46.
Police have not released many details about the circumstances leading up to the accident but they have said that the man was identified as a 41-year-old from Pine Brook who was struck by a vehicle in the area of McDonald’s.
Emergency crews were immediately called to the scene but tragically pronounced the party deceased at the scene. The accident closed down the highway for several hours.
At this time, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
