Manchester, NJ – Four Injured in Car Accident on Route 70New Jersey Legal News
Manchester, NJ (August 25, 2019) – On Friday, police confirmed that four people were injured in a car accident that took place on Route 70 in Manchester.
The accident, according to police, left one vehicle resting on its side around 5:12 p.m. The parties who received injuries were identified as 20-year-old Oscar Balcarcel, 45-year-old Sean Spitz, Spitz’s wife, and his son. They were all hospitalized but are doing okay at this time.
At the time, police say that Balcarcel had been driving a black Honda Accord east on the highway when he suddenly struck a black Lexus that had been turning left at the time. The Lexus immediately overturned and wound up on its side in the middle of the road, while the Honda received front-end damage.
Balcarcel suffered a serious cut to his forehead due to the airbag. The other parties sustained only minor injuries.
At this time, police continue to investigate the accident.
