Mahwah, NJ – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-287 Ends in InjuriesNew Jersey Legal News
Mahwah, NJ (March 6, 2020) – A multi-vehicle collision on Thursday, March 5th, resulted in lane closures on I-287 in Mahwah, New Jersey. An initial accident took place at around 1:40 p.m. involved five vehicles and required extrication by Mahwah Fire Rescue. At least one victim required to be airlifted to a medical facility after landing on the roadway.
Another crash was reported moments later, compounding the situation for emergency responders. The severity and number of resulting injuries haven’t been confirmed at this time. Multiple agencies reported to the scene, including Mahwah police, Ramsey EMS, New Jersey Mobile HealthCare and Franklin Lakes firefighters.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
