Long Branch, NJ (February 26, 2019) – On Monday night, February 25, three police officers with the Long Branch Police division were injured in a motor vehicle accident. The accident took place when the officers were in pursuit of a suspect for a drug investigation.
The vehicle was found and three suspects took off after the accident. Two of the detectives have since been released from the hospital where they were being treated, while another officer is still under observation for his injuries.
One of the suspects got away and has not yet been found by police. Luckily, all of the officers are expected to make a full recovery from their injuries.
Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
