Linden, NJ (May 12, 2019) – Police are now searching for a driver following a hit-and-run accident with critical injuries that took place on East Linden Avenue early this morning.
Police say that the crash took place around 3:00 a.m. when a man was struck and critically injured by a hit-and-run driver in front of Cheeques Gentleman’s Club. The incident occurred when the club was closing for the night.
The incident took place when various parties in the parking lot started fighting with one another. A vehicle then fled the scene and struck a man from Jersey City, causing critical injuries that landed him in the hospital.
Police have not yet issued a description of the vehicle involved. The victim and one person who was beaten badly in the fight were both taken to the hospital.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
