Jersey City, NJ – UPDATE: Peter Siano Injured in NJ-139 Crash

New Jersey, NJ (April 30, 2020) – A 27-year-old New York woman was arrested in connection with a crash that injured a Port Authority police officer on Tuesday morning, April 28th. Amandeep Tiwana of Flushing, New York struck a median on NJ-139 and reportedly caused a chain-reaction collision. Officer Peter Siano III and three Jersey City Police Officers were injured in the accident. 

Siano and the other officers were at the scene of another crash when they were struck by Tiwana. Two detectives, identified as Christopher Monahan and David Valente, were also injured in the collision. Tiwana was transported to Jersey City Medical Center and later released. 

An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently in progress.
