Hasbrouck Heights, NJ – One Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Washington Place

Hasbrouck Heights, NJ (July 9, 2019) – On Monday, police confirmed that one person was injured after being struck in a serious pedestrian accident on Washington Place.

The accident took place when a vehicle was pulling into a driveway and suddenly struck one or two pedestrians who were walking along on the sidewalk. The accident crushed one person underneath.

When first responders arrived, they had to lift up the vehicle so that they could extricate one person from underneath.

The injured pedestrian was immediately transported to the hospital by ambulance, but there is currently no update on their condition.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
