Hackettstown, NJ (December 16, 2019) – A woman was killed in a deadly pedestrian accident in Hackettstown, New Jersey late on Friday, December 13th. The crash happened on Willow Grove Street at around 5:10 p.m. 

The deceased has been identified as Brenda Sargeant, 72, of Mansfield Township, New Jersey. Sargeant was traveling east on Willow Grove when she was hit by an oncoming vehicle. She was transported to Hackettstown Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.

An investigation into the accident is currently underway.
