Hackensack, NJ – Pedestrian Struck at Summit Ave & Thompson St

Hackensack, NJ (February 12, 2020) – Early Tuesday morning, a 28-year-old woman was hit at the corner of Summit Avenue and Thompson Street at around 7:00 a.m. Authorities arrived to render aid to those at the scene. 

Initial reports revealed that she was hit by a 2019 Ford Mustang driven by a 64-year-old man. The injured pedestrian was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center. The driver was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian. 

No other details have been provided. Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
