Franklin, NJ – Woman Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Rt 57

Franklin, NJ (September 8, 2019) – Around 4:54 p.m. yesterday, September 7, police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash that took place on Route 57.

The crash allegedly happened when an SUV collided with a Jeep during heavy traffic on the highway. An 18-year-old had been driving the Jeep when it struck a Mitsubishi Outlander driven by a 60-year-old woman.

Police said the driver of the SUV was taken by ambulance to the hospital but no other parties were injured.

Route 57 was reduced to one lane while police took a closer look at the accident. It remains under investigation at this time.
