Fairfield, NJ – Car Accident on Shoulder of Route 80 Leads to InjuriesNew Jersey Legal News
Fairfield, NJ (March 2, 2019) – This morning, around 10:03 a.m., a car accident involving a box truck took place on the shoulder of Route 80 and led to injuries in two individuals.
At the time, police say that a FedEx truck suddenly veered off the side of the highway, causing it to strike a sedan near mile marker 52.7. Both drivers involved in the accident were injured and taken to the hospital. Neither of their conditions are known at this time.
It was confirmed that one driver was taken to the St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, while the other was taken to the Morristown Medical Center.
By 11:15 a.m., the highway was completely clear and traffic was flowing.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident at this time.
