Elmwood Park, NJ – Overturned Forklift Caused Fatality of WorkerNew Jersey Legal News
Elmwood Park, NJ (June 8, 2019) – Authorities arrived at the scene of a warehouse to find that an overturned forklift caused the death of a worker.
The man was identified as a Brooklyn native, 59-year-old Lin Yi Hui, who was too close to an edge when he was operating a forklift. The forklift tipped over and Hui was ejected from the vehicle.
When the worker fell to the ground, he was struck by the forklift in the head. He was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene due to severe head trauma.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
