Elk Township, NJ (March 14, 2019) – Police reported that one person was killed in a fatal car accident that took place on Route 55, approaching exit 48.
The accident took place early this morning, according to police, and they have not yet identified the parties involved. The accident took place in the area of Ellis Mill Road and involved a pedestrian.
Reports state that one vehicle parked on the shoulder of the road, while another veered off into the nearby woods.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
