New Jersey Motorcycle Accidents

Edison, NJ - 2 Killed in Motorcycle Collision on NJ TpkeEach year, motorcycle accidents are overrepresented in national roadway fatalities. In 2017, 80 motorcyclists were killed in collisions in New Jersey, an increase from only 69 the year before. Around 5,000 riders were killed nationwide in 2017.

Motorcycles leave their riders with little protection in the event of a crash. That means motorcyclists are much more likely to suffer fatal injuries compared to those traveling in passenger vehicles. In some cases, surviving family members can consult with a New Jersey motorcycle crash lawyer in the event of a deadly collision.
