East Windsor, NJ – Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident Involving Truck on TurnpikeNew Jersey Legal News
East Windsor, NJ (July 9, 2019) – This morning, around 4:30 a.m., police responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident on the New Jersey Turnpike in East Windsor.
The accident took place when a person was around the area of an unoccupied vehicle on the right shoulder of the highway. They were struck by a tractor-trailer for reasons unknown.
Troopers arrived, found the pedestrian in the area of the vehicle, and tragically pronounced them deceased. Their identity has not been released at this time.
The 32-year-old truck driver from Rahway stopped at the scene of the accident and has been cooperating with police.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
