East Rutherford, NJ – Worker Killed in Construction Accident at MallNew Jersey Legal News
East Rutherford, NJ (October 11, 2019) – New Jersey State Police have been investigating the death of a worker who was killed in a construction accident at a local mall.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at the American Dream mall at the Meadowlands complex when 37-year-old Eric Papenfuhs was operating a utility vehicle on the parking deck and was struck by a flatbed trailer.
Police say that Papenfuhs was rushed to a local hospital but, while there, he was pronounced deceased.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is working on its investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
