Clifton, NJ – UPDATE: Ahmed Bashir Injured in Motorcycle Crash on NJ-3

Clifton, NJ (May 17, 2020) – The identity of a man who was injured in a motorcycle crash in Clifton has been identified. On Saturday, May 16th, Ahmed Bashir, 35, of Paterson, New Jersey was involved in a crash with another vehicle at around 1:48 p.m. The site of the crash was located near the intersection of NJ-3 and Passaic Avenue. 

Bashir was operating a 2017 Honda CBR motorcycle when he collided with a 2011 Honda CRV driven by Marilyn Basile, 59, Ridgewood, New Jersey. Bashir was reportedly injured in the collision. No further details on the accident have been released at this time. 

Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
