Clifton, NJ – Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Paulison and Union Avenues

Clifton, NJ (June 18, 2019) – A 16-year-old driver without a license has been charged after a fatal motorcycle crash at the intersection of Paulison and Union Avenues on Friday night.

At the time, police reported that the teen had been driving an SUV without a license when he struck a motorcyclist near the corner of the intersection around 9:00 p.m.

The motorcyclist has since been identified as 25-year-old Nadeem Asfour, who was brought to the hospital after being thrown from the motorcycle. He was tragically pronounced deceased a short time after the accident.

The teenager has since received charges for joyriding, aggravated assault, driving without a license, and causing a fatality. He was taken to a juvenile detention center but police have not yet released a name.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
