Clark, NJ (May 11, 2019) – This morning, police responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident at Raritan Road that led to head injuries in an elderly woman.
The accident, which took place this morning, caused serious injuries to a 71-year-old woman who was struck by a vehicle. At the time, she had been crossing the street at a shopping plaza when she was suddenly struck by a vehicle turning right out of the plaza.
The woman, whose name has not yet been released, was immediately rushed to the University Hospital in Newark to be treated for serious head injuries. The driver stopped at the scene of the accident and has been cooperating with police.
Police are still searching for those who might have witnessed the accident. The investigation continues at this time.
