Chatham, NJ – Bus Accident Involving Motor Vehicle at Main Street IntersectionNew Jersey Legal News
Chatham, NJ (March 11, 2019) – Around 8:30 a.m. today, police responded to a bus accident involving a motor vehicle in the area of the Main Street and Hillside Avenue intersection.
The accident took place when a Honda Pilot crossed a couple of lanes and slammed into an NJ Transit Bus this morning. Police believe that the bus was traveling east on Main Street at the time and pulled to the side of the road so that it could let a passenger off the bus when the accident took place.
The driver of the Honda, who crossed into the eastbound lanes from the westbound lanes, received injuries in the accident.
Both vehicles sustained damages and were removed from the scene. At this time, the crash remains under investigation by police.
